After 2 or 3 days of Captain P fragments bouncing around in my brain, damn your eyes, I listened to it again. and I'm still finding new stuff in it. [finally got "Doctor Killjoy/Kildare" for example – funny.] [also, after the a cappella/choral passage, the quick little [organ?] riff that leads back to full instrumentation, and... oh hell, it goes on and on.] and it still SLAYS me that you did the guitar parts on keyboard. it's just so wrong.

and where the hell is Visalia, anyway?

and now that I've listened again [and again], the damned song will no doubt rattle around my beleaguered skull for days to come. Damn.

It's been a while since I was so moved as I was by the title track of this album [A House Divided]. There is such energy and passion here behind a message the world desperately needs to hear. As I listened to the other cuts, I found much to enjoy as well. The variety Matthew brings to this one CD is impressive and intriguing. There is something here for everyone.
